Static Caravans for Sale in Norfolk

A Distinctive Landscape

Norfolk’s landscape is one of the flattest in the UK, giving it a unique feel complimented by features like its famous windmills. It borders the North Sea on its eastern and northern coasts, with the Wash, a large indentation in the coast, to the north west. The Broads is an area of rivers and lakes to the east of the county, and has a status similar to a national park – a great spot for walks and picnics.

Medieval Norwich and Surrounding Towns

The city of Norwich is the county town – because the Industrial Revolution mostly passed it by, much of the city’s medieval character has been entirely preserved! You can have a great time just wandering around its winding streets, with many fine buildings including the Cathedral and Guildhall. There is also an excellent market, and the extravagant Art Deco Royal Arcade.

King’s Lynn is an ancient port that grew rich managing trade from seven English counties. This history can be seen, for instance, at the Hanseatic Warehouse, built in 1475. Potter Heigham is the main town for visiting the Norfolk Broads, and the north Norfolk coast offers a wide range of seaside towns and resorts!

Entertaining Attractions

Norfolk offers a wide range of attractions, particularly in Norwich, an appealing city with all the shopping and dining facilities you’d expect, as well as Norwich castle and museum! The coast has a good range of seaside resorts, and further inland there’s boating on the Broads, and excellent bird watching opportunities, including at Cley and Blakeney Point. There are also some gorgeous stately homes such as Felbrigg Hall and Holkham Hall, as well as the royal residence at Sandringham.
